Director of Channel Sales

Poised for Growth with Massive Upside

Coterie is an insurtech addressing a $200B+ category with an established leadership team that is stacked with serial entrepreneurs and domain experts. Fresh off of Series A funding that was led by experienced venture investors and former operators, and with 13 partnerships already closed, it is time to put our foot on the pedal.   

We’re looking for a deal-making hunter with proven experience driving sales and revenue growth via channel partnerships. You are exceptional at both improving and executing a sales/partnerships playbook while aggressively developing promising leads and advancing them via diligent follow ups, tracking, and relationship management. Bonus is you bring a strong rolodex across B2B2C ecommerce marketplaces and/or the major point-of-sale and software platforms serving them. 

We are flexible on location, but strongly prefer folks with a history of driving successful revenue-generating partnerships in the San Francisco Bay Area and/or NYC region.

This position will report directly to the Company’s Co-Founder & Chief Strategy and Growth Officer.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire partner and channel sales funnel from lead gen through closure. 
  • Collaborate closely with company leadership to advance its e GTM plan and playbooks for each product/offering
  • Help advance and turn our small partnerships team into a well-oiled machine that rapidly identifies the highest potential distribution channels & partners, and closes the right ones on the right terms. 
  • Improve upon the existing channel sales playbook for building and maintaining partnerships
  • Partner closely with internal colleagues to ensure smooth handoff and management of closed partnerships, and to Inform our product team about feature requests and ways the Company can better support your success.
