With a focus on partnerships and strategic growth in 2025, Coterie surpassed $200 million in direct written premium (DWP), achieved a 66 percent year-over-year (YoY) increase in in-force premium, and exceeded 100,000 policies in force. The company also broadened its offerings to include employment practices liability insurance (EPL) and expanded its existing ceded products into additional states.

Strengthening Partnerships and Distribution
Coterie expanded its distribution and strategic footprint in 2025 through several high-impact partnerships, each intentionally structured to empower commercial insurance agents and brokers with access to a broader suite of niche SMB insurance products and integrated risk management solutions—enhancing agent value propositions and enabling more comprehensive coverage and advisory capabilities for small business clients.
Customer satisfaction remained strong throughout the year, demonstrated by industry leading CSAT and NPS scores and a stellar Google rating, reinforcing the company’s emphasis on responsiveness, reliability, and service consistency.
Technology and Operational Momentum
Operationally, Coterie recorded a double-digit YoY increase in average monthly active users through its quoting platform. The company also optimized its API integration process, completing a full partner integration in just three weeks. The API now delivers a 92 percent success rate on bindable BOP and GL quotes, with expanded access to Cyber, Workplace Violence, and EPL coverages.
Coterie also enhanced its service experience with the launch of Coty; its upgraded chat feature designed to streamline and simplify support for policyholders and partners.

Coterie celebrated its seven-year anniversary in September 2025 during Coterie Con, its annual all-company in-person conference.
