Business Personal Property Coverage with Coterie Insurance
Business Personal Property Coverage with Coterie Insurance
Your client’s business personal property limit of insurance covers:
- Business personal property (BPP) owned and used in the business
- Property of others in your client’s care
- Improvements/betterments your client makes as a tenant which cannot be removed or taken out when the lease ends
- Leased personal property your client is required to insure
- Exterior building glass (if your client is a tenant and there is no building coverage on the policy)
Coterie’s BPP limit covers the above-described property while it’s at a location that’s scheduled on the policy, or while it’s in the open or in a vehicle within 100 feet of the scheduled building or premises.
Property at other premises or in transit is subject to sublimit (see section below).
Coinsurance requirements apply at 80%. Be sure to verify your client’s BPP limit encompasses all the above and is adequate for their needs.
