Filing a claim with Coterie Insurance is easy as 1, 2, 3! 

1. Report the Loss to Coterie:

To report a claim you have two options:

  • If you are a policyholder you can do it directly on your Policyholder Account or this page.
  • If you are an agent or a third party go to:

2. Coterie takes it from here and is your one point of contact.

3. Your claim will be investigated, and then we’ll contact you. While response times may vary, an adjuster will typically contact you by the next business day.

Coterie accepts a new Notice of Loss (FNOL) for policy coverages underwritten by Coterie.

How long do I have to file a claim?
The best option is to file a claim as soon as possible. 


What do I need to complete the claim form?
If you are the policyholder filling the claim:

If you are an agent or a third party filing the claim:

  • Policy number
  • Name of the person(s) insured
  • Date/Time of the loss
  • Description of the event
  •  Loss Location (address, state, zip)
  • Photos, Police Report, if applicable
  • Witness Information, if available
