LIFTED – The moratorium for Hurricane Helene has been lifted in all states: AL, FL, GA and SC 9/30/24
We have implemented a moratorium on new BOP business for the states of Florida and Georgia, and for certain counties in the eastern half of AL, due to developing Tropical Storm Helene in the Atlantic.
The moratorium for Hurricane Helene has been updated to include another 5 counties in Alabama, in addition to the list provided this morning:

This will impact BOP business only, not GL or PL.
Moratorium means no new business can be bound, nor will we accept any requests to increase limits or lower deductibles on existing business. Other endorsements should be reviewed in these areas and referred to UW with questions. Renewal activity can continue with terms and conditions as expiring.
