Coterie Named one of the 2021 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For in the Nation

Best & Brightest

CINCINNATI – June 17, 2021 — The National Association for Business Resources has named Coterie as one of their Spring 2021 Best and Brightest Companies To Work For in the Nation.

The 2021 Spring National winning companies were assessed by an independent research firm which reviewed a number of key measures relative to other nationally recognized winners. The Best and Brightest Companies to Work For winners are not ranked.

“We’re thrilled to receive this honor especially as a portion of the scoring came from a survey completed by our team members,” said David McFarland, CEO & Co-founder of Coterie.  “In the past year, we’ve more than quadrupled in size and I’m thrilled we’ve been able to retain and grow our culture founded on innovation and transparency.”

Coterie is a 100% remote company with team members located across the country. Since its inception, the company has strived to create a culture where team members are supported fully in their roles, and their careers. The company’s professional development initiative, Core Coaching, encourages openness by providing team members an opportunity to raise concerns, ideas, and input into the company’s direction.

The company is dedicated to preserving its unique culture and part of that is through Friday Wins. Every Friday, the entire company meets virtually to share accomplishments and positive feedback. Anyone and everyone are welcome to partake.

“The Best and Brightest is a powerful community of elite leaders who share ideas and practices and have proven they are employers of choice. Best and Brightest winning companies have also been a voice for important actions in creating a sustainable culture that works, ensuring the wellbeing of their employees come first,” said Jennifer Kluge, President and CEO, Best and Brightest Programs.

Coterie supports its workforce by covering 100% of employee health insurance premiums including dental and vision. Coterie also provides unlimited paid time off.

The Best and Brightest Companies to Work For in the Nation winners will be honored during the virtual Illuminate Business Summit week in November 2021 and in the spring of 2022. During the Illuminate Business Summits, the 101 highest scoring national winning companies and the Elite awards will also be awarded to the highest winning companies demonstrating exceptional innovative human resource practices and setting high standards for all businesses.

With over 20 years of experience conducting the Best and Brightest competitions, the National Association for Business Resources (NABR) has identified numerous best Human Resource practices and provided benchmarking for companies that continue to be leaders in employment standards.

All 2021 companies that will be selected to be recognized nationally as a Best and Brightest Company to Work For® will be featured in the online edition of Corp! Magazine.
