Day 1 of the 7 Day Challenge: Assess Your Business

Did you know that 75% of consumers judge a company’s credibility based on its website design? By evaluating your online presence and setting clear goals for improvement, you can attract more clients and establish trust with potential customers.

Day 2: Respond to Reviews

Online reviews can impact your business significantly, with 93% of consumers saying that online reviews influence their purchasing decisions. By responding to reviews and demonstrating your commitment to customer satisfaction, you can build a positive reputation and attract new clients.

Learn more about online reputation from Katy Kelly, a guest we had on Season 2 of Coterie’s podcast, And I Quote.

Day 3: Communication Campaign

Encouraging clients to leave reviews can lead to a 156% increase in engagement with your business. By communicating the importance of online reputation and prompting clients to share their experiences, you can enhance your credibility and attract more business opportunities.

According to a January 2023 Shep Hyken and Five9 survey, 86% of US consumers would be willing to switch brands, services or companies because they know they can get a better customer service experience elsewhere.

Day 4 of the 7 Day Challenge: Update Your About Us Page

Your website’s About Us page is often one of the most visited pages on a website, receiving an average of 25-30% of total website traffic. By updating this page with compelling information about your business and values, you can make a strong impression on potential clients and differentiate yourself from competitors.

While you are on your website, consider making other improvements, too. Learn more about how you can drive quality traffic to your website.

Day 5: Community Support

You can do this online or in person. If you choose to do this online, follow new businesses, comment on their posts, share their content. If you choose to do this in person, leave contact information so they can connect with you. Follow up with them and stay engaged in their business.

Supporting small businesses in your community not only fosters a sense of camaraderie but also drives economic growth. Studies show that for every $100 spent at a local business, $68 stays in the community, compared to $43 for non-local businesses. By showcasing your support for local entrepreneurs, you can strengthen the local economy and attract like-minded clients.

Day 6: Emphasize Your Values

Did you know that 64% of consumers say they have a relationship with a brand because of shared values? By showcasing your mission statement and values on your website or social media, you can connect with clients on a deeper level and build long-lasting relationships based on trust and shared principles.

Day 7: Network and Connect

Building relationships with small businesses through networking can lead to valuable partnerships and collaborations. Research shows that 1 in 4 professionals around the world has established new business partnerships by networking on LinkedIn, highlighting the importance of fostering connections within your community. By engaging with small businesses and expanding your network, you can uncover new opportunities for growth and success.

By taking part in Coterie Insurance’s 7-Day Challenge for insurance agents, you can amplify your impact on small businesses while growing your own client base. Use the power of online presence, community support, and networking to drive mutual success and make a meaningful difference in your local economy. Let’s embark on this journey together and elevate both your business and the small businesses in your community. Join us in championing entrepreneurship and fostering a culture of collaboration and prosperity. Together, we can create a brighter future for all.
