Moratorium impact BOP business and means no new business can be bound, nor will we accept any requests to increase limits or lower deductibles on existing business. Other endorsements should be reviewed in these areas and referred to UW with questions.  Renewal activity can continue with terms and conditions as expiring.

Lifted Moratoriums (from last month)

• Claremont Wildfire in Idaho (Ada and Boise) has been lifted as of 8/3
• Little Wildfire moratorium in Alameda, CA has been lifted as of 7/27
• The moratorium for Tropical Storm Arthur in TX and LA that was in place as of 6/17/2026 has been lifted.
• The wildfire moratorium for WA that was in place as of 6/17/2026 has been lifted.
• The CA wildfire moratorium for Riverside and San Diego county that was in place as of 6/16/2026 has been lifted.
• The moratorium in Kern, CA that was in place as of 6/14/2026 has been lifted.
• The moratorium in Mariposa, CA that was in place as of 6/8/2026 has been lifted as of 6/10/2026.
